Proyecto: Belly Dancer - 15

Solo para contar que estoy desde hace algo así como una semana pintando mi bailarina exótica, lo más exóticamente posible :-)

Se que algunos les va a gustar y a muchos otros no, pero así es el arte, che. Estas fotos es para que vayan haciéndose a la idea de lo que estoy haciendo.

Just to tell you, I'm painting my Belly Dancer Doll since a week ago (at least). This painting work is very exotic, like the Belly Dancer herself :-)

I know that some people would like this kind of style, and a lot of other people wouldn't like this at all, but... art is like that, pal. I post this photos so you can figure a little what I'm doing.

De Pez a Sushi (y viceversa)

Ahá, sigo haciendo amigurumis reversibles y transformables.

Esta vez, basandome en un modelo hecho con telas que se puede ver (y bajar el patrón, y como hacer todo!) en www.cutoutandkeep.net.

Esta es mi version del modelito, pero al crochet. Si quieren que publique el patron (gratis, claro), escribanme.

Como mi amiga Patricia es fanatica del sushi a morir, se lo regalé a ella. Está en buenas manos...

Yep, I'm still crocheting reversible/transforming amigurumis.

This time, I did this Fish to Sushi amigurumi. I saw the idea at www.cutoutandkeep.net, where there is a model in fabric (you can download the pattern!).

This is my crochet version, of course. If you want to see my pattern posted (for free, of course), write to me telling me so.

As my friend Patricia is a die-hard fan of sushi, I give it to her as a present. I'm sure it's in very good care... :-)

Aháaaa!

Mi bailarina ya tiene base, y oficialmente TERMINÉ EL MODELADO!!!!

Siiiiiii! Al fin, terminé. Ahora comenzamos las recta final: la pintura. Va a ser algo muy delicado. Ya vi que todos los pinceles que tengo son demasiado gruesos... así que imaginense!

Voy a pintarla en acrílico alternando colores muy suaves y otros bien vibrantes. Al menos, esa es la idea...

Siempre me atrajo mucho la combinación loquísima de tonos, luces y colores que hace Yoshitaka Amano, su sitio es éste. Quisiera aproximarme aunque sea un cachito a su estilo. Voy a intentarlo al pintar mi Belly Dancer. Ya veremos cómo queda...

Yesssss!

My Belly Dancer Doll now has a good wooden base, and I oficially can shout: I FINISHED the SCULPTING process!!!!

Yeah! At last, finished. Now, we begin the final step: the painting. It's gonna be really difficult and delicate. I already seen my brushes are all too thick... so imagine that!

I'm gonna painting it with acrylics, using very subtle and soft colors and touches of very bold and vibrant tones. That's the idea, at last.

I always liked a lot the crazy mix of colors, tones and lights in the works of Yoshitaka Amano, this is his site. I wish to get a little bit near to his style. I'm gonna try it out with the painting of this model.

We'll see how it ends up...

Qué fue primero..?

Si alguna vez se lo preguntaron, este amigurumi transformable es para uds. De huevo a pollito, de pollito a huevo (de afuera hacia adentro y de adentro afuera). La idea la tuvo mi amiga Laura, que a su vez lo vio por ahi. Esta es mi versión.

Huevo y Pollito

Huevo:
1) Anillo Magico con 6pts (6mp)
2) 2mp en cada mp de la vuelta anterior (12mp)
3) * 1mp en los tres primeros mp, 2mp en el siguiente mp *, repetir de * a * (15 mp)
4) * 1mp en los tres primeros mp, 2mp en el siguiente mp *, repetir de * a * (18 mp)
5) * 1mp en los cuatro primeros mp, 2mp en el siguiente mp *, repetir de * a * (21 mp)
6) * 1mp en los cinco primeros mp, 2mp en el siguiente mp *, repetir de * a * (26 mp)
7, 8, 9, 10 y 11) 1mp en cada mp de la vuelta anterior (26mp)
12) * 1mp en los tres primeros mp, 2mp tejidos juntos *, repetir de * a * (19mp)
13) 1mp en cada mp de la vuelta anterior , cerrar.

Pollito:

Armado:
Bordarle los ojitos y pico al pollito. Se le pueden hacer colita y cresta o dejarlo tal cual.
Dar vuelta el huevo e introducirlo adentro del pollito. Coser los bordes inferiores de ambos. Una vez cosido, comprobar que se los puede dar vuelta sin problemas. Es recomendable no tejer muy apretado.
Se puede dar una puntada invisible para unir el tope de la cabeza del pollito con el tope del huevo, para que que sea más fácil dar vuelta el trabajo y transformar el pollito en huevo, y el huevo en pollito.

Nota: encontré recien (20 días despues de haber publicado este patrón) que no soy tan original como creía (tampoco me creia tanto...). Mochi-Mochi, un sitio famoso entre los amantes de los amigurumis, vende el patrón de una versión algo más elaborada del huevo y pollito. Link.

If you sometime wonder what was first, the chicken or the egg, this amigurumi is for you. From egg to chicken, and viceversa (fron inside to outside and again). My friend Laura had this idea. This is my version.

Egg:
1) Magic Ring with 6 st (6sc)

3) * 1sc in next three sc, 2sc in next sc *, repeat from * to * (15 sc)
4) * 1sc in next three sc, 2sc in next sc *, repeat from * to * (18 sc)
5) * 1sc in next four sc, 2sc in next sc *, repeat from * to * (21 sc)

Chicken: 1) Magic Ring with 6 st (6sc)

Enbroider eyes and beak. You can add a tail and comb or just leave it like that. Turn the egg so the outside is inside, and put it inside the chicken. Sew toghether the bottom edges. When you sew it, you can test if the labor can turn inside and outside without problems. It will be good if you don’t crochet all the parts too tight. You also can sew the top of the head or the chicken with the top of the egg, so you can easily turn the work, and transform the egg to chicken and the chicken to an egg.

Edit: I just found out that I'm not as original as I think to be (well, that wasn't much either). Mochi-Mochi, a site famous in the all-things-amigurumi lovers world, sells a pattern for a Chicken and Egg amigurumi. Link.

Augen und Schnabel aufsticken. Du kannst einen Kamm dranhäkel, wenn du willst. Drehe das Ei mit der Außenseite nach innen, setze es in das Huhn und nähe die beiden Teile an der Unterkante zusammen. Nicht zu fest häkeln, damit sich beide Teile später gut wenden lassen. Du kannst den Hühnerkopf mit der Oberseites vom Ei zusammen vernähen. Dann lassen sich später beide Teile noch besser vom Ei zum Huhn und umgekehrt wandeln.
