Flores

Estuve sacando algunas fotos de las flores en mi jardin y en el de mi suegra.

Algunas me salieron bastante lindas, y pensé que podía compartirlas. Las dejé en tamaño grande, aptas para usar de fondo de pantalla o escritorio. Sólo hace flata cliquear sobre cada una para verlas en tamaño real.

I've been taking some photos of the flower in my garden and in my mother in law's.

Proyecto: Belly Dancer - 6

Ultimamente se me hizo complicado postear algo. El calor agobiante y el trabajo acumulado me dejaron sin tiempo (ni aire!) para seguir blogueando.

Pero afortunadamente pude seguir haciendo algunos progresos con mi bailarina. Como notarán, ya tiene cara (uuh!) y tambien comienza a tener ropa...

El cabello está comenzando a tomar forma. Sin embargo, va a ser algo difícil de modelar, ya que quiero darle "vuelo" y movimiento (es decir, casi estoy modelandolo en el aire).

Lately, it was very difficult for me to post something. This hot and awful summer and lots of work acummulated in my table had let me without time (nor air!) to keep blogging.

But luckily I was able to keep making progress with my belly dancer. As you can see, she has face already (uuh!) and also I started to making her clothes... The hair is beggining to take shape. However, it will be difficult to model, because I want to give it some fly movement (I mean, I'm almost making it in the air).

Gatita Morochita

Mi ultimo amigurumi es un gatito (a pedido del publico!).

Está hecha en lana marrón oscuro -lo que me trajo algunas criticas como "ese no es el color de los gatos" y "pensé que era un oso"), con un precioso vestidito turquesa y una flor rosada.

Por ponerle algún nombre, se llama Morochita.

My last amigurumi is a kitty (people asked me to!)

It's done in a chocolate color yarn -wich collected a lot of critics like "it isn't a fur cat color" and "I thougth it was a bear"), and has a cute dress in turquese yarn and a pink flower in its ear.

Because she needed a name, I named her Morochita (Brownie).

Proyecto: Belly Dancer - 5

Yyyyy... sigo trabajando con mi masilla, dandole vida de a poquito a mi bailarina.

Sé que no se nota mucho -en comparacion con las ultimas fotos- pero hay unas cuantas modificaciones y agregados desde el ultimo post.

Ya tiene una base para comenzar con la cara (por lejos lo mas dificil), y tambien le aumenté unos kilitos en la cadera (tiene que tener buenas curvas!). Tambien ya le agregué dos muy importantes caracteristicas, facilmente distinguibles.

Aaaannnd... I'm still working with my putty, giving some life to my dancer.

I know it doesn't note that much, but I added her a few things from the last post.

Now she has a base so I can start with the face (the most difficult thing there is), and also I added a few pounds in the thighs (she must have a lot of curves!). Also I added two very important things, easily notable.
